Bahaus Istanbul is a fine example of a ''home away from home,'' located in Sultanahmet, in the centre of historic Istanbul on a quiet street. Within a few minutes walk of all major tourist attractions (Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia) and near bus, tram and train links.

As a youth hostel, we may not have the luxuries of a hotel (excluding Bahaus Dalyan Resort), but we will do our best to give you a true hostel experience. THIS IS IMPORTANT: If you are not a true hosteler or backpacker than Bahaus is not the place for you.

Relax in our cheerful, clean and comfortable rooms. Choose from male, female or mixed dormitories and private rooms with or without private showers. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans or fans and central heating.

At Bahaus, your safety is our priority. We have security cameras at key locations, 24 hour reception and dorm rooms have security card password locks. Put your valuables in your own large security lockers (bring your own padlocks and keys or rent them from us) or in our safe box while sightseeing.

All bathrooms have 24 hours hot water and are equipped with hair dryer. As the leading hostel in Istanbul, we are determined to keep our high standards even higher. That's why the hostel has just undergone extensive renovations. We have given you new clean bathrooms and hygenic toilet seats; more privacy in your dorm beds; there are now LCD TVs and safe boxes in double ensuite rooms.

We are a party hostel . So, please note that if we see the right crowd of customers, we don't like to miss a chance to party and we will party.
